1# Lake Arvouin
A little corner of paradise easily accessible from the village of La Chapelle d'Abondance or from the Sevan car park.

2# The Bise Cornettes
One of the most famous peaks in the Abondance Valley. From its summit at 2,432m, the panorama is breathtaking. With a little luck, you might encounter chamois, mouflons, golden eagles, and Alpine ibex along the way.
The marked route is long (allow 5.5 hours from Chevenne) with a good elevation gain (1205+).
3# The Linleu (or Linla)
A magnificent hike, without major difficulties, which will offer you a breathtaking view of the Swiss and French mountain ranges.
4# The Mount of Grange
The climb to the summit is challenging, but it's worth it! You can set off to conquer Mont de Grange from Chapelle d'Abondance, Abondance, or Châtel.
The more athletic among you will be tempted by the loop version at 22.6 km and 9 hours!
5# The Trebentaz refuge
Nestled beneath Mont de Grange at the top of the Mattes valley, the Trebentaz refuge is accessible (by following the GR route) from Chapelle d'Abondance. It's beautiful and the food is good (it's best to call Norbert and Marie-Pierre to book 06 07 14 49 34 )
